Lacquer Granite Kitchen Countertops
Granite kitchen countertops that have been installed as a worktop for your kitchen or bathroom is equipped with a finish or sealer that will protect the stone. If sealer was not used properly, stains will begin to appear on granite. If your granite countertop needs to be refinished, a new layer of sealer should be used. Before painting, use granite chips or cracks to be repaired.
Mix a small amount of detergent and water into a small bowl. Wet cloth in water and soap solution. Wipe down the kitchen table to remove any residue and dust. Examine the kitchen table for chips or cracks. If any, they will need to be repaired using a granite kitchen countertops repair kit that consists of the dye and epoxy. When repairs are done, paint can begin. Open granite sealer and pour it into a small container or a paint tray. Dip the roller or brush in sealer and then apply it to the kitchen table. Continue applying seals evenly across the surface of the kitchen table.
Leave sealer to set 15 to 30 minutes to absorb into the surface of granite kitchen countertops. Wipe excess sealer with a clean cloth. Apply another layer of sealer to the table top within 30 to 40 minutes after the end of the first team. Allow second layer to set for 15 to 30 minutes. Wipe the entire kitchen table with another clean, dry cloth. Wait at least 24 to 48 hours for sealer to completely heal before using the kitchen table.
